Start your skincare routine with cleansing. We recommend choosing the ADAPTOGEL CLEANSER. It instantly and deeply cleanses, reduces oiliness, and protects the skin’s microbiome.

After cleansing, apply a few drops of X-STRENGTH RETINOL SERUM to your face, neck, and décolleté. Then apply an eye serum and Hydrafusion Cream.

POWERFUL RETINOIL retinoid face and body oil: apply 2–3 drops of oil with light massaging motions to previously cleansed skin on the face, neck, or any area of the body that needs care. If you have already used a retinoid serum on your face, use the oil sample the next day.

Using light massaging motions, apply 1–2 drops of EYEMULTITASKER RETINOL SERUM to the skin around the eyes, avoiding direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to the eyelid. 

After applying the serum in the evening, apply HYDRAFUSION hydrating gel cream: 1–2 pea-sized amounts of cream to the skin of the face, neck, and décolleté. The cream reduces redness and restores the skin’s microbiome.

In the morning, finish your routine with SPF50 to protect your skin from UV rays.

For additional skin hydration after using retinoids, use Hydrafusion Gel Cream. It will help maintain balance, reduce the risk of irritation, and enhance the effectiveness of retinoids. After using retinoids in your morning or daytime routine, be sure to apply SPF 50 sunscreen.

Products containing acids and retinoids may cause temporary redness or irritation—this is an individual skin reaction.

INSTYTUTUM formulas contain high concentrations of active ingredients. To minimize the risk of irritation, introduce new products gradually, starting with 2–3 times a week.

These recommendations are based on using products within the INSTYTUTUM line. When combined with products from other brands, increased sensitivity and unpredictable reactions may occur.

If you plan to use acids and retinol together: start with acids (2–3 times a week); after 10–14 days, if there is no irritation, add retinoid products.

If a negative reaction occurs: suspend use of the active product for 2–5 days, then gradually reintroduce it into your routine. After starting to use products with active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C), your skin may temporarily react with breakouts, flaking, or irritation. This is skin purging, which indicates the activation of cellular renewal and detoxification. When it appears: 2–3 weeks after starting active ingredients. How long it lasts: up to 9–10 weeks. What to do: don’t change your skincare routine abruptly; let your skin adapt. If your skin condition worsens significantly and the reaction persists, consult a dermatologist or esthetician.
